39-year-old Raymond Turner Jr. killed his domestic partner, police say.
On Monday, Jacqueline Archuleta, 52, was found deceased in her residence in the 1100 block of Marisa Lane in Desoto. Her body had noticeable, extensive injuries.
Turner was apprehended that same day, for another offense, in Moab, Utah.
As police questioned him, he began to discuss the murder with detectives, providing a great amount of details.
Turner is currently being held in a Utah jail. Police have not disclosed when he will be extradited back to Texas.
