Family Says Dead Man In Casket Wasn’t Their Dad, Suing For $85 Million

Spenser Tillman declared six months ago that a body that was inside of a casket at Lawerence E. Moon Funeral Home, in Detroit, was not his dad.

Tillman stated that right away, he and his siblings knew something wasn’t right, and the body was not 64-year-old Larry Tillman.

“We tried to stop the funeral several times- this is not my father. They’re not listening.  They’re not listening till this day,” Spenser said.

Now, the family is hoping for some action after filing a $10 million lawsuit against the funeral home for damages.

Additionally, they are asking for $75 million for malicious fraud, gross negligence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Spenser has stated that he has had to reach out to the morgue to get pictures for proof that the body was not Larry Tillman.

After receiving the pictures, the funeral home still didn’t acknowledge that there was a problem.

Thus, Spenser has taken matters into his own hands. He and his lawyers are planning to possibly have the health department exhume the body and test it.
