Devven Scott was driving to her dentist appointment in Southfield Michigan when she found herself behind an F-150 pickup truck pulling a trailer of scrap metal. An unexpected malfunctioning of the trailer sent it flying into the 29-year-old’s lane.
Scott was faced with a trailer coming at her head-on. With no time to react, her car is hit and sent flying. A portion of the trailer went through the windshield, striking her on impact.
Police say, Scott was pinned inside the car and still alive. Her wounds were too severe, however, and she died at the hospital two hours later.
