A 3 year old boy has died after being served a grilled cheese sandwich at a Harlem school. 
Elijah Silvera was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being fed a grilled cheese sandwich at the Seventh Avenue Center for Family Services despite their knowledge of his allergens to dairy. Silvera later died at the hospital and the family is demanding answers.
Accordimg to documents the health department has shut down the center and said “We will get to the bottom of what happened here. In the meantime, we’re closing the Center for Family Services and continuing to aggressively investigate what happened and whether the facility could have done something differently to prevent this tragedy”.
The family created a GoFund me account and the donations have been pouring in for support of the 3 year olds family.
They have raised over $18,000 so far.
