Texas Nurse Found Guilty Of Killing Four Patients

4kviews

On Tuesday, a former nurse, in Texas, was found guilty of capital murder charges after four patients died.

Prosecutors say that William George Davis, a 37 year-old from Hallsville, injected the patients with air in their arteries subsequent to having operations done on their heart. This is said to have led to brain injuries and death.

These incidents happened at Christus Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler in 2017 and 2018.

John Lafferty, Ronald Clark, Christopher Greenway, and Joseph Kalina died after experiencing numerological problems.

It took a Smith County jury one hour to deliberate before convicting him of the offenses.

Now, the sentencing phase is in motion, and prosecutors’ goal is for Davis to receive the death penalty.

Defense lawyers say that Davis is being blamed just because he was there at the time of the deaths.

However, prosecutors stated that the hospital has the same routines, and nothing close to this has happened since.
