Woman Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter Following Crash With Fed Ex Semi

A Dallas woman is facing intoxication manslaughter charges following a crash that left a woman dead Friday night.
The incident happened right before 11pm on the southbound side of I-345 at Ross Avenue.
When officers responded they found a black Jeep Patriot with front end damage, as well as a Fed Ex semi-truck towing two box trailers with minor damage.
During investigation officers learned that the jeep struck the back of the semi truck.
All three passengers in the jeep were transported to an area hospital where one was pronounced dead.
Aspin Jackson, the driver of the jeep, was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
She was booked into Dallas County jail after being released from hospital.
No bond has been given at this time.
