A man was shot and killed by a Rockwall officer after ramming his SUV into police vehicles.
Officers were responding to a domestic violence call near S.Goliad st. and when they arrived they spotted the suspect in his vehicle in the parking lot. Police say that’s when the man began to ram his suv into the police cars. 
The officers tried shooting the suspect with bean bag rounds and when that didn’t work an officer fired a shot at him. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect has not been identified but authorities say he did have an active warrant for his arrest for another family violence charge.
The officer has been placed on administrative leave and the case is still under investigation.
