Student Makes History As First Male Valedictorian

Ahmed Muhammad, 18, made history as the first male Valedictorian at Oakland Technical High School. He graduated with the highest GPA in his class, 4.73.

Ahmed is also gifted when it comes to sports and played for the varsity basketball team. He also founded a science education company called Kits Cubed. His company creates affordable science kits for school-aged kids.

Ahmed was accepted to all 11 schools he applied to. Amongst the list of schools he was accepted to were Harvard and Stanford. He is thankful to his parents for being his role-models and helping him reach his goals.
