Woman Found Dead In Barrel Inside Apartment

Nicole Flanagan, 42, booked a room at the Hampton Inn on Pearl Street for a night on August 4 in Lower Manhattan.
She stayed in room 804, according to a hotel employee on Friday.
“It’s the best room – with a balcony, the city view and everything,” expressed the employee.
The price for these rooms are listed at $300.
The employee added that Flanagan was a frequent visitor as she often used her “silver member” points to cut the price in half.
The employee told investigators that Flanagan left between the night of Aug. 4 or early the next morning but never checked out.
When hotel staff realized Flanagan never returned, they entered her hotel room.
They discovered several crack pipes, half-empty bottles of liquor, and marijuana.
She was last seen with a known gang member on Aug 6.
Flanagan’s naked, decomposing body was found inside a 55-gallon plastic barrel.
She was left in a residential neighborhood in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
There were no signs of injury.
The gang member is considered a person of interest at this time, according to investigators.
The investigation is still ongoing.
