A label, that is new, will also have to be added to advertisement post that have modified a person’s shape, size, or skin.
Influencers and celebrities only have to abide by this law if they are given money or other benefits for a post. This is a result of social media platforms potential harm on mental health.
Now, Instagram has started to develop ways to assist with people’s anxiety of some users. For example, they have added a tool which let’s users choose to hide their like counts.
Additionally, #filterdrop began in July 2020 when model Sasha Pallari wanted to see “real skin” depicted on Instagram.
