Aircar, a dual-mode car aircraft, has finished the first-ever test flight between airports. It took place in Slovakia and took a total of 35 minutes to get in the sky and land.
Klein Vision, the creation company, said the flying car performed its 142nd landing, and this was a great milestone. The aircraft can fly about 600 miles and ascend up to 8,200ft. The wings fold along side of the car. It requires regular petroleum-pump fuel. The aircraft, with a BMW engine, can hold two people. It cannot land vertically and needs a runway to do so. Navigated by its creator, Stefan Kein, the aircraft transformed into a car in less than 3 minutes.
After the landing, Klein noted that the flight has started a ” new era of dual transportation vehicles.”
It is said to be a possible resolution to issues revolving around transport infrastructures.
