Dallas Shooting Leaves Two People Injured

Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured Friday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 3600 block of W. Davis Street.
Upon arrival officers learned that a 27 year old man was shot in the chest while trying to break up a fight between two males.
Apparently the two males were pistol whipping a 45 year old man in the head when the 27 year old intervened and tried to break them up.
During that time he was shot and the suspects fled the scene.
The 45 year old man was treated at the scene for his injuries while the other was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
This investigation remains ongoing.
