Suspect In Custody After Toddler Abandoned At Mississippi Goodwill Donation Center

One person is in custody after a 2 year old was dropped off at a Goodwill donation center Monday morning.
The toddlers name was not released but authorities say the toddler was dropped off around 9:40am by a man wearing black jogging pants and a black cowboy hat and an unknown woman.
The suspects left the toddler at the donation center with a bag of clothes and a note inside the bag saying the mother could not take care of him anymore.
Surveillance footage in the area showed the suspects dropping the child off and fleeing the scene before officers could arrive.

After an investigation and several tips one of the suspects were arrested in Shelby County around 3:30pm after crashing into multiple cars.
No suspects details have been released at this time.
The toddler remains in Child Protective Services and will be reunited with the family once the investigation is complete.
