Deceased Woman’s Body Found In Neighborhood Alley In The Colony

Detectives are investigating after a woman’s deceased body was found in an alley Sunday morning in the Colony.
Officers responded to a call on the 5200 block of Strickland Ave after a group of neighbors discovered the body in an alley and contacted police.
When officers and emergency crews arrived they pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Detectives are reviewing video surveillance from some of the homes in the area for possible leads.
The woman’s name has not been released at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.
