Former-49ers defensive lineman Dana Stubblefield has been charged with raping a mentally disabled woman in 2015 … He now faces prison time. Officials say 45-year-old Stubblefield contacted the woman through a babysitting service and had her over to his home for an interview back in 2015. Officials say instead of an interview Stubblefield had sex with the woman even though she was “incapable” of giving consent do to the fact she suffers from mental and physical disabilities.
The 31-year-old woman went to the police right away after the alleged assault. Officials believed there was enough evidence to charge Stubblefield with 5 felony charges. Stubblefield has been charged with rape by force, rape of a victim incapable of giving consent, oral copulation by force, oral copulation with a person incapable of giving consent and false imprisonment. Officials also want Stubblefield to be tested for AIDS. If he is convicted he faces serious prison time.
