Dallas Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Driver Who Fled Rollover Crash Scene

Dallas police are searching for a man believed to be responsible for a rollover crash who then fled the scene.

Officers responded to the incident around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of North Field Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway.Investigators reported that a Lexus was heading south on Field Street when an eastbound SUV ran a red light and struck it.

The collision caused the SUV to overturn. By the time police arrived, the SUV was lying on its side, but the driver had already escaped.

The driver of the Lexus was not injured.

Authorities are seeking help from the public to identify the SUV driver. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Dallas Police Department.
