Deputy Assaulted and Urinated On While Breaking Up Fight in Spring, Texas

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – On March 14, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office were called to the 17500 block of Hidden Forest Drive in Spring, Texas, to perform a welfare check. Upon arrival, they found two men engaged in a physical altercation.

As deputies attempted to separate the individuals, one of the men, identified as 19-year-old Felton Burton, allegedly assaulted a deputy and urinated on him during the confrontation. Following a brief struggle, Burton was detained but initially refused to provide his identity.

The second individual involved in the fight, 20-year-old Every Zion, was also apprehended. He was found to have an active felony warrant from Louisiana for lewd or lascivious acts with a minor.

According to officials, both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Felton Burton has been charged with Assault on a Public Servant, with his bond set at $10,000 in the 337th District Court. Details regarding Every Zion’s bond and court information are not yet available.

Constable Mark Herman emphasized the seriousness of the incident, stating that such behavior towards law enforcement will not be tolerated.
